This little church is about nine hundred years old, with a weird L-shaped layout owing to an 18th century extension. It became redundant with the building of St Luke's Milland adjacent in 1878, but survived dereliction a couple of times. It is now well cared for, and has a new roof.
Milland is nowhere near. Tuxleth is the proper name for the locality, but for some reason the Victorians identified their new church with the nearest village of any size.
